curvy premium denim with Coco Cooper.

a lot of women say that jean shopping isn’t always the most fun or easy experience. throw some curves into mix and it becomes that much more difficult. have you ever been extremely frustrated when trying on jeans that should fit but are too tight? i’ll keep it real with you: i’ve definitely cried in a fitting room over this situation. anyone else? this is actually one of the reasons why i prefer online shopping: i can try on my clothes in the comfort of my own home where i have natural light {not the harsh fluorescent lights in stores} and i’m not worried about overheating to death like in a tiny, uncomfortable fitting room. all these things can make jean shopping seem like a bit of a nightmare.

i remember very distinctly in high school when premium denim brands like True Religion and 7 Jeans were all the rage. the problem? i was curvy and they never fit quite right. i always had to reluctantly size up to find just one pair that would work for my body shape. premium denim is meant to be just that, premium. but i didn’t fit the bill.

that’s why i’m so excited to share with you the brand Coco Cooper! this is the first premium denim brand i’ve come across that specifically makes jeans for curvy ladies. although they carry all sizes, Coco Cooper recognizes that women aren’t just regular or plus size. did you know the average sized woman is between a size 8 and 14? i’m one of many women who falls into this category and Coco Cooper has made their premium jeans based on that. Coco Cooper jeans are specifically developed for the love of curves, with sculpt & hold technology, luxe 4-way stretch fabric, silky soft denim and a booty boosting design. my kind of jeans! i’m also in love with the fact that their models are actually the type of body shape i can relate to.

today, i’m wearing the Delphine Flare in Optic White. these flared jeans hug my curves in just the right places and are a really fun jean for spring! because they have a bit of a vintage feel, i paired them with a fun cropped striped sweater for an even more retro look with a modern twist. i already know these jeans will be on repeat all season long. stay tuned for a second pair of Coco Cooper denim tomorrow! xx cropped striped sweater {more sizes here and here}

    Jean shopping is the worst— right there with swimsuit shopping! I am loving that companies are recognizing that not everyone fits in one straight design– women have curves. I also love that you share your personal experiences. I have definitely cried in the fitting room too. xo
