palm springs travel guide.

places to stay

The Saguaro Hotel: my review of this colorful & fun hotel here.

Parker Palm Springs: we only ate brunch here, but it’s number one on our list to stay at next visit! the aesthetics are so unique and right up my alley!

The Avalon

Ace Hotel

places to eat

Norma’s: located inside of the Parker. i had a sweet brunch of chocolate french toast {not joking, see the menu here} and robbie went for savory. it was delicious!

El Jefe: located inside of The Saguaro. highly recommend the chips & guac and tacos! a few of my followers also said the nachos were some of the best they’ve had. everything is hand made, and i wanted to sneak a handful of the chips home.

Tyler’s Burgers: located in downtown Palm Springs. easily one of the best burger i’ve ever had! and the shakes are amazing, too. we sat at the bar since the wait was pretty long.

FARM: another one we didn’t make it to, but it’s on our list for next time! it’s across from Tyler’s in downtown and is supposed to have a fantastic brunch.

King’s Highway: located inside of the Ace Hotel. came highly recommended by several friends and followers for brunch and dinner! on our list for next time!

Great Shakes: they top your shake with a mini donut. enough said!

things to do/see

visit that pink door

rent bikes & ride around the local neighborhoods {your hotel probably has them!}

take photos at the Windmill Farms on your drive into Palm Springs

play Bocca Ball {at The Saguaro and the Parker}

hang out & relax by the pool

go to Camelot Theaters for an Indie movie {we did this twice}

head to downtown Palm Springs to walk around & grab some food. plus, downtown has its own Walk of Stars {think mini Hollywood Walk of Fame!}.

International Banana Museum {we didn’t make it here, but a few followers recommended it!}

honorable mentions

Joshua Tree National Park is about an hour drive from Palm Springs if you’re looking for a hiking destination.

Salvation Mountain was also recommended by several friends and followers! it’s about an hour and a half from Palm Springs.

a few followers recommended heading to Palm Desert’s shopping district, El Paseo. it’s a half hour away!
